Daften Machining is an essential link in our ‘one stop shop’ die casting business established in 1961. Daften's reputation has been built on providing: quality, reliability, flexibility and traceability.

Flexible, Efficient Process

We have a continuing programme of investment in the latest technology. Our latest investment is 3 Haas computer programmable milling machines. They are armed with 4th-axis machine attachments which aids speed of manufacturing while increasing repeatable accuracy. It also gives us the ability to machine complex shapes, undercuts and difficult angles in a single setup, reducing tooling cost and labour time, resulting in a better cost per part. In addition we can maintain parts conformity throughout the run of the part.

Lubrication

We use Castrol Hysol lubricants that have been specifically developed for general and arduous machining applications, especially with high pressure delivery systems. High performance lubricity and extreme pressure additives also provide excellent tool life and surface finish. An advanced bio-stability package ensures longer sump life, lower maintenance and significantly reduced disposal costs.

Quality

We are committed to quality with all stages of the process rigorously tested and inspected and hand finished where necessary.

Delivery

We can collect and deliver using our own transport. For larger items we use reliable National next day delivery
services for palletised and parcel consignments.
